This year, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will introduce a new parking system for private cars from the 9th of May at 10 a.m. travelling to the sports facilities both for the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP (24-26 May) and the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2024 (21-23 June).
The parking ticket can be purchased through the Circuit’s ticket portal. From there, users will be redirected to a platform through which to make the purchase. Users will have to create a profile to manage the purchase. It will be necessary to provide the number plate of the car for its identification at the Circuit. If at the time of purchase the user does not yet know the number plate, he/she can enter it on the platform later from his/her profile. But before accessing the Circuit, this information must appear in the portal.
The parking area reserved for fans will be divided into 4 different zones (A, B, C, D,). A few days before the event attendants will receive information about the parking area they have been allocated. It is important to consider that, regardless of the grandstand or general admission area they are going to, the access to the Circuit can be made through any gate and that, moreover, the Circuit will provide a shuttle service to move across all the accesses to the venue and thus be able to get from one zone to another more easily than on foot.
The download of the parking accreditation is in PDF format and online, so no sticker will be necessary, as on previous occasions. Access to the car park will be by number plate reading, in an attempt to speed up entry to the venue and reduce waiting times.
The ticket price is €24 (plus €2.5 handling fee) for MotoGP™ and €47 (plus €2.5 handling fee) for F1®. Motorbikes will have a reserved space in the parking areas for the public at no additional cost. So they will not have to go through the above procedure.
It is important to note that if fans do not have a parking ticket they will not be will be able to access the sports facilities by private car. It is recommended, as usual, to use public transport to get to the Circuit.
