The new era of the FIA Formula One Championship gets underway on 23 February at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. For a total of three days, the premier class of motor racing will be immersed in the exhaustive preparation of the 2022 season, which presents several important changes for the single-seaters.
Thus, the new F1 World Championship units will see the light of day for the first time collectively in Catalan territory. The ten teams will test with their drivers on a track that they will be visiting again during the World Championship caravan tour, specifically on 20, 21 and 22 May with the staging of the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2022.
As opposed to the last few years, this time the event will be held privately, without the presence of the public. The test sessions at the Circuit will precede three additional official preseason sessions in Bahrain, which will take place from 10 to 12 March.
