Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is organising a charity tour next Thursday, 28 February with the collaboration of Carlos Sainz. With the time, this activity is becoming a tradition: 2019 is the fourth year in a row in which the local driver and the world championship track get together for charity purposes. Moreover, it will be during the second week of the Formula 1® Test Days, an unbeatable framework. Only a small group of persons will have the chance to meet the Madrid-born driver, as well as to ask him for pictures and autographs.

The Spanish journalist Josep Lluís Merlos will be attending as well, giving a speech about F1®, explaining some of the novelties of this year, amongst other things. The attendants will be able to visit the Circuit facilities and even make a tour around the service tracks. The paddock, race control or even the podium are the areas that they will have the chance to see up close.

The ticket is available for 100 euros, and the raised funds will be given completely to Juegaterapia, a foundation that works in order to improve the life of children with cancer.

Programme:

11:45 h – Start of the tour

12:00 h – Paddock tour

12:30 h – Service track tour

13:00 h – Facilities tour

13:30 h – M&G Carlos Sainz

13:45 h – Speech by Josep Lluís Merlos
