Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will put the tickets for the FORMULA 1 GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2021 (7-9 May) and the Gran Premi Monster Energy de MotoGP™ (4-6 June) on sale next Thursday. The launch of the ticket sale will include an exclusive special offer, which will be valid for 48 hours only, on the Circuit’s website: a 50% discount on specific grandstands. The Membership products for the 2021 season will also be available for on-line purchase.
As regards the F1® Spanish Grand Prix, the 50% special offer is applicable on three-day tickets for the Main Grandstand, which will be available for 220 euros, while in the case of the MotoGP GP the promotion is valid for three-day tickets in Grandstand G. Motorcycling fans will thus be able to enjoy the show for 60 euros.
In addition to the special offer, fans have a large grandstand offer for all tastes, grouped in different categories like Fan, Super Fan and Excellence. However, the General category, which includes access to the General Admission area will not be available yet for reasons of capacity control and safety distance.
True motorsport lovers will still have the chance to become Circuit Members. And there is a major novelty to be added to the already existing categories: The Circuitcat Club. For only 59 euros, this new modality provides for more flexibility and the chance to create a customised Membership, as it gives access to most of the races of the season with spectator attendance, including the Rallycross and the WorldSBK, in addition to a 40% discount on the purchase of a ticket for the F1 and MotoGP Grands Prix.
Tickets can be purchased at www.circuitcat.com
Safety Measures
The highest priority of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be ensuring security and health-safety of all those attending.
In order to keep the safety distance on grandstands, the Circuit has designed a purchase system which, every time a user chooses a seat or group of seats, the system will automatically block the seats located above, below and on either side, so that they won’t be available for other users. Another implemented safety measure is that all tickets will be nominal and users will have to enter the name and surname of each person accessing the facilities during the Grand Prix, who will have to show their Personal ID or passport at the entrance.
The facilities will be divided into five different zones to control the capacity and optimise circulation for all attendants, creating bubbles and sub-bubbles which won’t include more than 3000 people in each sector created for each grandstand.
Fans will have access to the facilities through the nearest gate and park their car in the nearest parking space, with the aim of avoiding the mixing of groups belonging to different bubbles. Both the capacity of the car parks and the access of each of the gates will ensure the access of the different volumes of fans corresponding to each bubble. Thus it will be possible to keep the necessary safety distance for all users.
COVID-19 Guarantee
Considering the global health situation, should the event finally not be staged or staged without spectator attendance, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will offer all purchasers two options: transferring the ticket to the next season or a 100% refund of the ticket price.
