This weekend, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be holding an exceptional event. The Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona has been conceived because of and for Valencia. With solidarity as a motto and those affected by the devastating consequences of the flash floods in mind, fans will have multiple proposals through which to extend this help during the event, as well as other entertainment proposals.
On-site and online auctions
In the Fan Zone of the Circuit, located behind the Main Grandstand, the attendees will be able to enjoy two auctions. One will take place on Friday and the other one on Saturday, both from 4:00 p.m. To 6:00 p.m. Current MotoGP™ riders, along with Legends and VIPs, will pass by the stage, and some of them will bring exclusive items such as signed outfits by the riders or three extraordinary bikes, including Maverick Viñales’ Moto3™ World Championship winner. It’s a great opportunity to own a piece of MotoGP™ history while helping Valencia.

The in-person auctions will be complemented by an online auction where fans from all over the world will be able to participate, with unique lots to buy. In all three auctions, donations will be managed through the Red Cross, an organisation that is very involved with the cause. The link to access the online auction will soon be available on the Circuit’s website.
Hero Walk
Grand Prix ticket holders will have the opportunity to meet their idols up close thanks to the Hero Walk. The Moto3™, Moto2™ and MotoGP™ riders will pass through a designated area near the paddock entrance to chat, be photographed and share a relaxed time with some fans. The Hero Walk will be reserved for Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders on Saturday (11:45 a.m. -12:15 a.m.), while the Hero Walk on Sunday will be reserved for the premier class riders (10:20 a.m. – 10:40 a.m.).
Fan Zone
The Circuit has a space designed for the fans. Located behind the Main Grandstand, the Fan Zone holds an attractive commercial area, as well as the stage where the auctions will take place, where well-known faces will be present. Furthermore, the Circuit has merchandising shops distributed around the public areas.
Solidarity tickets
Part of the proceeds obtained from the tickets of the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona will go directly to the aid funds for Valencia, so fans who come to the Circuit during the weekend know that their contribution will help the recovery of all the people affected by the flash flood. With an overwhelming response from the public, the Circuit is very close to hang the ‘sold-out’ sign. That is the reason why it encourages all fans to buy the last available tickets at www.circuitcat.com.
The Circuit reaffirms its commitment to sustainability
Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is getting ready to host the KISS (Keep It Shiny and Sustainable) programme by FIM Ride Green, organising a series of actions with the collaboration of Dorna and within the framework of its sustainability management based on the 3Cs ‘Conscience, Commitment and Coherence’, in order to raise awareness and sensitise all stakeholders to respect the environment.
The Barcelona track will have a Sustainability Meeting Point, located behind Grandstand G (open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). It will also make use of 100% certified renewable energy to support the electricity supply and will offer km0 and organic food. In addition, fans will be able to find drinking water fountains in the public areas and in the paddock. The commitment to sustainable mobility will continue thanks to a special public transport programme, as well as to zero waste, using the circular economy, recycling waste and donating surplus food.
