The FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have announced this morning the new calendar of the MotoGP™ World Championship, confirming that the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ will be staged from 25 to 27 September at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
The Catalan racetrack will be the venue of the eighth round of the MotoGP™ season, and there will be no spectator attendance. This decision follows the prevention measures established by the authorities for the containment of COVID-19 and thus guarantee the safety and health of everyone during the event.
The Catalan Motorcycling Championships, which were scheduled for 25 to 27 September are thus postponed, and the new date will be confirmed within the next few weeks.
Spectators already holding a ticket for the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ have different options available, including to keep their tickets to enjoy the Grand Prix in 2021 or the refund of the ticket price. From 29 June onwards, an online platform will be active to make the respective requests.

La FIM, IRTA et Dorna Sports ont rendu public, ce matin, le nouveau calendrier du Championnat du Monde de MotoGP™, dans lequel est confirmé le Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ qui se disputera du 25 au 27 septembre sur le Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Le tracé catalan sera le cadre de la huitième épreuve de la saison de MotoGP™ qui se tiendra sans la présence du public. Cette décision répond aux mesures de prévention établies par les autorités pour l’endiguement de la COVID-19 et pour ainsi assurer la sécurité et la santé de tous.
Les Championnats Moto de Catalogne, prévus du 25 au 27 septembre sont toujours reportés et la nouvelle date sera confirmée au cours des semaines prochaines.
Les spectateurs ayant des entrées pour le Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya de MotoGP™ disposent de différentes options, ils se verront notamment proposer la possibilité de conserver l’entrée pour profiter du Grand Prix 2021 ou le remboursement. La demande correspondante pourra être effectuée à travers une plateforme on-line qui sera activée à partir du 29 juin.
