The countdown to the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2024 has started and Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is gradually revealing the new features of this 2024 edition. For the occasion, the long-awaited activity known as Pit Walk introduces some significant operational changes.
First of all, the traditional visit to the Pit Lane, which allows visitors to get a close look at the garages of the World Championship caravan and meet some of the best riders in the world, will be held on Thursday of the Grand Prix week, on 20 June from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
The most important change is the limitation of the capacity to 3,000 people. In order to guarantee the smooth running of the activity and the safety of all the people at the venue, the Circuit will implement this new system in which a Pit Walk ticket will have to be obtained at the ticket portal of the track. This operation will be free of charge and will be carried out by applying as promotional code the barcode number of the Grand Prix tickets (not the purchase reference). Circuit Members will use their complete ID card number, letters included, as a promotional code.
In order to manage the potential demand, the Circuit will set up a virtual queue one hour before the tickets go on sale. On 14 May at 9 a.m., all those interested will be able to access the ticket portal and enter the virtual queue until 10 a.m., when the Pit Walk event will open to download tickets at no additional cost. Once the 3,000 tickets have been allocated, the portal will not allow users to continue with the procedure.
Fans who do not have a Pit Walk ticket, despite having a ticket for the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA 2024, will not be able to access the venue to participate in the activity.
Access will be through Gate 3 at 5 p.m. (car park H2, former IN6 behind the Main Grandstand). The entrance to the activity will be through the track gate located between Grandstands J and K at 5.30 pm. From there, there will be a walk to the Pit Lane of the Circuit. The Pit Walk will finish at 7.30 p.m.
