The “Run the track” event was a great success. Over 400 people took the chance offered by the Barcelona racetrack to jog along the tarmac on a very special occasion: on the eve of the Formula 1 race. This was one of a long list of activities scheduled to turn this weekend into a splendid experience.
Runners lapped the circuit and had the opportunity to take a close look at all the tarmac details and see the marks tyres leave on the asphalt first hand. Even if the track seems flat on a TV screen, runners appreciated the heavy slopes, especially uphill in the Moreneta area. After the positive experience last year, the Grand Prix organizers decided to extend this exciting opportunity again to all sports lovers, and bring the thrill of racetrack experience closer to the fans.
