The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya faces a year full of changes regarding one of its most mythical and special events, highly appreciated by fans – the 24-hour motorcycle endurance race, which reaches its 30th edition in 2025.

First, the event presents a new name: 24H Moto Barcelona Catalunya. This comes from the agreement signed between Fira Circuit, the managing company of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya’s activities, and the sports events company Fly Actions. This five-year alliance will serve to promote and enhance the motorcycle event and transform it into one of the major endurance races in Europe.

The 24H Moto Barcelona Catalunya also has an officially confirmed date: July 5th and 6th. The Circuit will open its doors to the public for two days, which will mark the starting point of the event’s new projection.

The 30th edition of the event will offer more attractions for both participating teams and fans. While the race start remains at 12:00 PM on Saturday, it will be preceded by a spectacular entertainment program to make the start one of the competition’s peak moments.

Fans will be able to access the paddock to closely observe all team activities such as tire changes and rider relays. A giant screen installation is also planned where spectators can follow the event live with real-time classifications.

The 24H Moto Barcelona Catalunya will have a commemorative character while also being a declaration of intent for the future. This combination will include a tribute to Montjuïc and the races that were held on the “magic mountain” before passing the baton to the Circuit. Therefore, there will be an exhibition of winning motorcycles from the 24H of Montjuïc.

In the coming weeks, new features and incentives for this special edition will be revealed. The regulations will also be published, and pre-registrations will open on February 10th. The race will be held on the 4,657-meter FIM Grand Prix layout.
