On 29 and 30 October, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will hold the 8th edition of the World Championship with qualifying finals on both Saturday and Sunday

The World RX returns to the track of Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the last weekend of October to revolutionise the world of RallyCross by holding the first 100% electric event of the FIA World Championship.

Power and acceleration will once again take over the Circuit for one of the most exciting races on the calendar. The categories to be held at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be RXE, RX2E and carcross E in the most thrilling format of Rally competition: the doubleheader, where World Championship qualifying finals will be held both on Saturday and Sunday.

As a novelty, the competition will be complemented by the e-Mobility Experience, an experiential fair where visitors will be able to discover and try out all the latest developments in electric vehicles: cars, motorbikes, e-bikes, scooters and more, to which you will have free access with your World RX de Catalunya ticket.

Its format, based on several qualifying races, provides for continuous thrill. Moreover, the Barcelona-based racetrack is transformed to create the mixed 1,135 m layout in the Stadium area.

The seventh edition of the Catalan round will be counting, as usual, with a wide cocktail of drivers coming from the world of rallying or road racing with internationally recognised prestige.

This world championship event is staged in closed circuits, with top level drivers at the wheel of compact, high-performance vehicles with more than 600 HP: the highest acceleration power in the world, even more than in Formula 1. It combines top level competition with the participation of former rally and road-racing drivers with recognised international prestige.

The Circuit will host the seventh round of the new Rallycross World Championship calendar, even though it was initially scheduled as the opening event For the occasion, the Circuit will prepare its special RX layout, made up of 60% tarmac and 40% gravel, with a total of 1,135 m.
