The 24 Hours will celebrate its 29th edition on the first weekend of July

If there is one event that is deeply rooted in the history of the Circuit, it is the 24 Hours of Catalonia Motorcycling. A benchmark in the world of endurance that inherited the baton from the 24 Hours of Montjuïc and that this year is getting a little closer to another great milestone. The 24 Hours will celebrate its 29th edition on the first weekend of July, proof of the health of the competition on an international level.

It is a race that neither professional nor amateur riders miss out on, as they have the opportunity to ride on an iconic track. As always, it’s all about standard-issue homologated bikes competing in a variety of categories. With its popular Le Mans-style herringbone start, the magic will start on the Circuit at 12 noon on Saturday 6 July.

One of the races at the Circuit which can be considered as magical is the 24 Hours Motorcycling Race, to be staged this year for the 28th time on the first weekend of July. It is an event that neither professional riders nor amateurs like to miss, with a large variety of nationalities taking part in the race on homologated production motorcycles within different categories.

It is a worldwide endurance benchmark that took over the history of the 24 Hours of Montjuïc. It not only reminds us of Montjuïc, but also of Le Mans with its popular herringbone start, a great attraction for fans.

It does not only remind Montjuïc, but also the race in Le Mans with its popular herringbone start, which names a very special weekend.

An event not be missed, a worldwide endurance benchmark that took over the history of the 24 Hours of Montjuïc.

After a year in which it was not possible to stage them, the 24 Hours of Catalonia motorcycling endurance race will be back at the Circuit, one of the most special races of each sports season.

The 26th edition will be staged from 2 to 4 July, filling the Circuit with magic and thrill, with the performance both of professional and amateur riders. An event not be missed, a worldwide endurance benchmark that took over the history of the 24 Hours of Montjuïc.

With its popular Le Mans-style start, the 24 Hours will be writing history again in a very special weekend.

25 years writing the story of the endurance competition

The AMV 24 Horas de Catalunya de Motociclismo will be celebrating 25 years of history. The event has been marking the start of the summer since 1995, the year in which the Circuit took over the magic from the 24-hour race that had been staged in Montjuïc from 1955 to 1986. This race makes both amateur and professional riders feel like protagonists, combining elements to turn the event into a national benchmark in the world of endurance. The race starts at noon on Saturday with a Le-Mans-type start. In the fight for the victory are homologated, mass production motorcycles wishing to show their potential, split into different classes: EWC, Superstock 600 and 1000, and Open Superbikes.

The entrance is free during all the weekend!

Endurance & motorbikes at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya

Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be staging the 24th edition of the AMV 24 Hores de Catalunya de Motociclisme, a motorcycling endurance race that has been taking place on the Catalan racetrack every year in early summer since 1995. Back then, the Catalan track took over from the magical 24 Horas de Montjuïc, which were staged from 1955 to 1986. The event combines a series of elements that turns the race into a true national benchmark as regards endurance racing, and both professional and amateur riders feel as protagonists of the 24-hour race. The race is run clockwise, starting on Saturday at noon, with a “Le Mans”-type start. In the fight for the victory, there are homologated road motorcycles that show their full potential split into different classes: EWC, Superstock 600 and 1000, and Open Superbikes.
